When Caleb's nightmares breach the barrier into reality, people start to die. An ex-marine whose nocturnal anguish prevents him from holding onto a job or settling down, Caleb returns to his childhood home in hopes of getting his life back on track. But the life Caleb used to know is long gone; his former sweetheart is engaged to another man, and his trusted Parish Priest is having a serious crisis of faith. When his nightmares return with a vengeance, Caleb finds himself locked in a frantic battle for survival against a mysterious cloaked figure. The more desperate and sleep deprived Caleb grows, the more convinced he becomes that his dreams are becoming real. Later, when the cloaked creature begins terrorizing his friends, Caleb attempts to determine whether he's finally lost his grip on sanity, or someone is attempting to catch his attention.
