Synopsis by Hal Erickson
By Whose Hand? is a cleverly handled murder mystery with a Rashomon twist. A murder has been committed, and the accused party stands trial. Each of the witnesses offers a different version of the events leading up to the killing. As they speak, their stories are related visually via double-exposure flashbacks. At the end, the judge leaves the defendant's fate in the hands of the movie audience!
