Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Even with its loathsome racial stereotypes, this Christie comedy starring Bobby Vernon had a solid comic foundation. Bobby (Vernon) wants to marry Betty (Frances Lee, Vernon's frequent Christie co-star), the daughter of the chief of police. The chief, however, has other plans for Betty -- he wants her to wed a policeman. When he is invited to a costume party, Bobby dresses up as a cop and, on the way there, is pulled into a paddy wagon headed for a raid on Chinatown. Bobby is ordered to patrol an area, and he accidentally falls right into an underground den full of Chinese gangsters. He manages to knock out their leader and chases the rest of the gang up to street level. The other policemen are there, waiting to round them up. The chief of police, impressed by Bobby's work, is more than happy to give him and Betty his blessings.
