Britt-Marie (Pernilla August), a loyal housewife of 40 years has just made the decision to leave her husband after learning of an affair. Now, on her own and needing to make ends meet, she lands a job at a recreational center coaching the young local soccer team in the sleepy town of Borg. Despite the obvious challenges her new life presents, Britt-Marie faces all obstacles head-on and learns what she is truly made of in this comedy-drama comedy directed by Tuva Novotny.
