Synopsis by Nathan Southern
This unique documentary from Emmy Award-winning producer-turned-director Martin Khodabakhshian sets out to test the limits of mankind's mental and physical endurance. Taking center stage is a Kiwi man, William Trubridge, an expert in the dangerous sport of "freediving," or deep water diving without any mechanical assistance. Trubridge, Khodabakhshian reminds us, holds the world record in this sport, and in this film he attempts to break that record by diving unassisted to a stunning depth of 300 feed - at Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahamas. The film features interviews with Trubridge's family members, friends, and many others.
