Synopsis by Betsy Boyd

For Breasts: A Documentary, twentysomething filmmaker Meema Spadola gathered a diverse group of women and encouraged her subjects to talk candidly about their breasts. This cinematic celebration is playful and thought-provoking, as 22 women (many of them topless) from age six to 84 explain how their breasts have impacted their experiences of puberty, sex, motherhood, health, and aging. Spadola discusses social, medical, and sexual issues related to breasts. Her inclusion of hilariously outdated propaganda footage adds a touch of humor.
