Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Montagu Love scored well in this cinematic take on Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. His character, Jacques Cordet, was the product of rape -- his mother Christine (Gerda Holmes) was attacked by ex-convict Le Grange (Albert Hart). Cordet grows up to be a district attorney in Paris. But, because of his criminal blood, by night he is a leader in the French underworld. Neither personality is aware of the other's existence. Cordet, the DA, falls in love with Natalia (Evelyn Greeley), the daughter of Christine's former sweetheart Dr. Jacques Despard (J. Herbert Frank). His alter ego has a gun-moll lover. In his determination to bring law and order to Paris, Cordet is trying to track down one powerful crook -- he doesn't realize he's actually searching for himself. Cordet is at risk of becoming his own victim, but he is saved by the gun moll, who loses her life to save his. An operation by Dr. Despard cures Cordet of his double personality.
