Director Keith Aumont's Boys of Summer looks for what it is that makes Curaçao's little league baseball team so successful. Footage of the team and its manager, Vernon Isabella, follows them as they prepare for the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, and the benefits of organized sports for young people growing up in adverse conditions. Boys of Summer also captures the crux between the kids enjoying summer at home and the fame and attention that come with being sports stars in America.
