Tired of hearing Cory (Ben Savage) fret over his curly hair, Topanga (Danielle Fishel) tries to prove to him that appearances don't matter by cutting her own hair practically to the bone. This turns out to be a big mistake, forcing Topanga to visit a hair salon for a "new look"--whereupon she receives so much attention and adulation that she totally forgets the lesson she was trying to teach Cory! Elsewhere, Eric (Will Friedle) is given a strong incentive to remain at home when he dates a young single mother who can't make ends meet.
