Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Producer-director Alfred Rode also takes the small role of a gypsy violinist in Boite de Nuit (Night Spot). The film is set in a raunchy nightclub, where the various fates of the protagonists come to a head. Claudine Dupuis stars as Gina, a sexy dancer who is pursued by all manner of satyrs and lechers. Through no real fault of her own, Gina brings disaster to everyone concerned. The chief selling angle of Boite de Nuit was the presence of a bevy of all-but-naked female chorines, whose gyrations were often excised from English-language prints of the film.
