Director Martin David explores the potentially devastating effects of desire on our lives with this story of a woman named Colleen, and the curious events that unfold at her thirty-fifth birthday party. Colleen's birthday has arrived, and in order to celebrate she's throwing a party for herself and all of her best friends. She plans on using the party as an opportunity to introduce her friends to her new boyfriend Dan, the man she longs to spend the rest of her life with. Her friends have yet to meet Dan, but they've heard all about him and eagerly await his arrival. As the evening wears on and Dan fails to show, his conspicuous absence has an unanticipated effect on the big celebration.
