Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
After accidentally capturing what looks like a blinking Virgin Mary on some film she shot of an Italian-American festival in Boston, Beth Harrington must grapple with her own religious beliefs and the reactions of those deeply moved by her video's images. The tone of the film is both serious and lighthearted, largely due to the unusual events that occur once the media hears about Harrington's film. The New England Film Festival bestowed its Landmark Theatres Award for Conceptual Originality on this video.
