Mark Clayborne's thriller Bling Bling begins with an eager rapper signing a contract with a record company that, unbeknownst to him, is a money-laundering operation for a drug dealer. Upon learning this piece of information, the performer tries to get out of the contract. This infuriates the drug dealer, who orders the rapper killed. This maneuver brings about a police investigation which may result in the end of the drug dealer's criminal life.
