Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Hong Kong filmmaker Tam Long-cheung directed this pleasant romantic comedy with Chingmy Yau as Tung-tung, a beautiful but shy girl who works several different jobs to earn her living and help her grandfather (Roy Chiao in a riff on his Summer Snow role), who has Alzheimer's disease. Tung-tung adds another job to her resume when she bumps into an old friend from school (Jay Lau) who is now the rock star Chi-sum. Chi-sum's handsome boyfriend Wing (Tony Leung) immediately catches Tung-tung's eye, and when he is blinded in a car accident, the smitten woman becomes his private nurse. They are brought even closer together when Wing's brother takes control of the family's money, leaving his blind sibling to fend for himself if not for Tung-tung. Reminiscent of While You Were Sleeping in its story arc and themes, the film rarely rises above its formula but provides some charming moments. Eric Kot co-stars with Annabelle Lau and Manfred Wong.
