This release is a documentary profiling the tumultuous life of musician and songwriter, Blaze Foley. Although he never became a household name during his lifetime, Foley's humorous political songs went on to be covered by such legendary artists as Merle Haggard, Lyle Lovett and Willie Nelson. Taking 12 years to complete, this film chronicles Foley's entire life, from his creative formative years, to his self-destructive adulthood and finally, to his untimely death.
