Synopsis
Harry Smith hosts a retrospective on "Saturday Night Live" that features a look at the making of a 2001 show hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow. The cast and crew are followed from the somewhat tense Monday meeting (where they must come up with ideas), through the writing process and rehearsals, to the live show on Saturday. Also: comments from creator Lorne Michaels, Chevy Chase, Will Ferrell, Darrell Hammond, Cheri Oteri, Ana Gasteyer, Molly Shannon, Martin Short, Chris Kattan, Adam Sandler, Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon.
