Billie Holiday: The Life & Artistry of Lady Day is a half-hour biography that uses film clips, archival footage, still press photos, and vintage promotional materials to highlight the major events in the singer's career. The documentary chronicles her battles with drug addiction, criminal activity, and abusive relationships, but also contains live performance footage of Holiday singing "God Bless the Child," "Strange Fruit," and "What a Little Moonlight Can Do."
