This video is part of a PBS series, narrated by journalist Bill Moyers, that looks at some of the most influential ideas, events, and people of the 20th century. This episode investigates the use of propaganda by both sides of the powers involved in World War II. Film clips from the Nazis, as well as from the Allied forces illustrate the principles and psychology of propaganda.
