Synopsis by Nathan Southern
In April 2011, three folk acts - he Old Crow Medicine Show, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and Mumford & Sons - shared billing at a significant folk music event. The performers climbed aboard a vintage train and rode it from Oakland, California to New Orleans , meanwhile performing on the vehicle as part of the 'Railroad Revival Tour.' This documentary from director Emmett Malloy captures the whole experience, as the musicians play one beloved folk tune after another for crowds of enthusiastic listeners.
