The entertaining Big Comfy Couch series gives preschool-age children an opportunity to learn about the world and getting along with others, by sharing the experiences of the clown Loonette, her doll named Molly, and the other inhabitants of Clowntown. In this episode, children explore the concepts "empty" and "full." Loonette meets a little caterpillar in the garden, finds out about the cycle of life , and learns that sometimes life has to change to another form -- or even move on. Granny Garbanzo's song, "Sometimes We Have to Say Goodbye," helps Loonette understand her feelings and accept this.
