In Leslie Naugle's drama Beyond Acceptance, husband and wife Aaron and Stacy decide to take in a foster child, but their first assignment, a boy named Evans, is deeply troubled. He has constant behavioral issues, and refuses to accept or return the love and care extended to him by his new family. The couple's biological daughter begins to resent the attention this newcomer receives from her parents, and soon they must all put their faith in God in order to reach a better place.
