Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Betty (Juliette Day) has a naive father who is a retired college professor. A treasure hunter, Captain Tobias Crook (Tote de Crow) convinces him to finance a voyage. But Captain Crook lives up to his name, and the ex-professor is taken to a deserted island, knocked unconscious, and left for dead. Meanwhile, Betty meets Dick Winthrop (Joe King), who knows about the Captain's reputation and sets out to save Betty's father. The captain and his mate take over Betty's house, and she locks herself in her room. When she hears the door being broken down, she faints, but when she comes to, she sees her father and Winthrop, who have arrived just in time to save the day.
