Willi Boskovsky led the Wiener Philhamoniker through an annual New Year's Concert every year from 1955 through 1979. This release compiles some of the best moments from those programs including the entirety of the 1974 concert, a commemoration of the orchestra's 125th year or existence, and an unusual gift being presented to Boskovsky during one of the shows.
