Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Lucas is a photographer living in Bulgaria in the 1920s, and he is having a hard time making ends meet. His wife is particularly worried because a new photographer has set up shop nearby. A veteran of the First World War, he is visited by a friend of his who served with him. His friend is part of the group actively opposing the country's dictatorship. Despite Lucas' poverty, he can be trusted with the group's suitcase full of currency.
