Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
In their first two-reel comedy, the team of blonde, glamorous Thelma Todd and dowdy Patsy Kelly win an old jalopy in a raffle -- with the obvious results. In her first film, former stage comedienne Kelly was told to bump her head and do a violent pratfall. Desperately wanting to please her new bosses, Kelly did what she was told -- only to learn from a laughing Todd afterwards that the Roach studio did employ doubles. Our Gang menace Tommy Bond appeared in a cameo and the comedy also featured Roach regulars Don Barclay, Charlie Hall, Tiny Sandford, Eddie Baker, Eddie Alexander, and the rotund Robert McKenzie.
