Norine Lawton (Carmel Myers) works with two con artists, and their latest victim is Christopher Gibbons (Pell Trenton), a former aviator that Norine knew before the war. He proves to be easy prey when she convinces him to buy some worthless oil stock. But then she finds herself falling in love with him and she has a change of heart. Gibbons gets an opportunity to turn the tables on the conmen because the stock he purchased takes a sudden leap in value. He tells them they should keep better track of their investments and decides to forgive Norine her involvement in the scheme, since she has decided to reform.
