Synopsis by Mark Deming
"Nightmare Bay" was the TV movie that introduced the series, in which a woman is attacked underwater after her boat is destroyed. She's saved by Baywatch lifeguard Mitch (David Hasselhoff), but the woman's confusing story is misrepresented by the press, and suddenly Mitch and his crew have to deal with hysterical reports that a sea monster lurks near the beach.
