As co-produced by RM Arts and The BBC, this documentary examines the Bauhaus school of architecture as it emerged and evolved in the early 20th century between 1919 and 1933. The program discusses various figures responsible for the school including Walter Gropius, Josef Albers, Mies van der Rohe and Lásló Moholy-Nagy, and also views Bauhaus within the context of the Weimar Republic, the government that immediately preceded Hitler's Third Reich.
