Kareem Abdul Jabbar, coach Red Auerbach and Harlem Globetrotter Marques Haynes are among the legends interviewed in this documentary, which traces the history of hoops from its creation in 1891 to the 1990s Air Jordan era. James Brown hosts the program and reviews the great pro and college teams of the past century, including New York's Original Celtics, coach John Wooden's UCLA squads, Magic Johnson's L.A. Lakers and Bill Russell's Boston Celtics.
