Synopsis by Janiss Garza

William Desmond stars in this routine Western. As implied by the title, Gallagher (Desmond) prefers to fight his foes with his fists instead of with guns. He is determined to capture a stage-coach bandit. He doesn't realize that the bandit is a girl, Jem Mason (Agnes Vernon). She fell into her life of crime after a mine belonging to her father, Selby Mason (Arthur Malette), was jumped by Gallagher's uncle. Gallagher falls in love with Jem while still ignorant of her doings. He does discover his uncle's wrongdoing, however, and restores the mine to Jem. Meanwhile, he has set a trap for the bandit. Then he finds out it is Jem and he dashes to her rescue. He gets there too late and the bandit has already been shot. The wounded outlaw isn't Jem, though -- it's Aliso Pete (Frank Lanning), who had attempted to do the robbery before Jem could. Jem is saved, and Gallagher wins her.
