Synopsis by Alice Day
Early childhood education gives young children a good headstart for the school years. Opinions differ on just how early training should begin, and some feel that babies are not too young to learn the basics. Baby Achievers: Video Flashcard 1 provides 15 learning units divided by headings, which enables the parent to stop the tape where necessary. Subjects covered include numbers one through ten, both upper and lower case letters, pattern recognition, colors, animals, parts of the body, and object relationships. The program is aimed at children ages six months to three years.
