Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This program presents writer Ayn Rand, as she discusses the nature of capitalism versus communism. Rand is the author of such books as Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and We the Living. She is well known for her endorsement of the so-called "rugged individual" of the capitalist system. In this program, Rand maintains that today's intellectuals, with their socialistic views, are an anathema to the capitalistic system, and are promoting the communistic ideal.
