Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
From the outer edges of the autism epidemic comes a documentary following one father's quest to describe his son's condition in understandable terms while locating the right treatments and doctors to help the boy live a happy and productive life. When children are diagnosed as "autistic like" the lack of a clear diagnosis ensures that the child in question can receive no specific treatment. By illuminating the medical, social, and health issues of these afflicted children, filmmaker Erik Linthorst gives struggling parents the tools to better understand their children's needs.
