Synopsis by Betsy Boyd

Part of the Audubon Video series, which documents animals and nature in their struggle for survival, Audubon Video: Danger at the Beach scales 10,000 miles of coastline to evaluate the devastating effects of litter and pollution. Actor Ted Danson narrates the program, touring the coastline and pointing out sad sights along the way, including deceased animals, medical waste, and marine ruin. Danson explains that people ought to be concerned about the endangered coastline, not only for the sake of marine wildlife, but also for the future of their own essential natural resources.
