A spell cast to ensure a productive crop on a family vineyard has the unexpected side effect of transforming humans into vegan zombies in this micro-budget gut-muncher. Dionne and Joe are the happily-married owners of a modest vineyard faced with the problem of yet another failed crop. When Joe suggests cutting their losses and selling the land, Dionne reaches out to her mother Audra, a powerful witch, for help in making the soil fertile again. The following year, Dionne and Joe witness a bumper crop, and call in their friend Professor Frank to help reap the harvest. With the help of four able-bodied college students, Professor Frank begins to make quick work of the fields until the group makes a pair of disturbing discoveries: not only do the vines appear to be growing at an unprecedented rate, but their next door neighbor has vanished without a trace. Later, Audra reveals that a possible side effect of her incantation is the plants turning on humans, and transforming them into the living dead. With Professor Frank nowhere to be found, Dionne and Joe quickly rush the students into the farmhouse to protect them from the dangers that lurk in the vineyard. But it's already too late; their neighbor has been infected, and the zombie uprising has begun. Now, with no hope of escape, Dionne, Joe, Audra, and the frightened students must fight for their lives while attempting to find a means of reversing the spell before outbreak becomes too powerful to contain.
