Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The African continent is well-known for its abundance of spectacular wildlife, and now nature lovers who may have never had the privilege of experiencing these natural wonders firsthand can finally do so with this look at the lions and giant animals who populate the plains. A look at the ferocious feline frequently referred to as "king" of all beasts gets things off to an appropriately majestic start, with a fascinating look at such massive creatures as elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and hippos proving that even the most mild-mannered to vegetarian beasts can be the most vicious when provoked by the violence of man.
