Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this series of vignettes, life on the remote Faroe Islands is shown in all its vividness. The Faroe Islands are a self-governing province of Denmark, with their own language and culture. To the extent that the film has a story, it concerns the frigid reception a group of visiting continental Danes receive, and their humorous efforts in response to this.
