Yagi Junichi made his directorial debut with this crime drama. An out-of-work detective (traditional drummer Oki Eiji), hired by a man (Nakamura Horyu) to watch his wife, moves high-tech equipment into an apartment with a vantage point. After much routine surveillance, the old lady is suddenly replaced by a young woman. The mystery deepens when the client asks the detective to kill the younger woman. Shown at the 1998 Vancouver Film Festival.
