The Dark Ages were coming to a close, and there was a new flowering in the arts, known as the Renaissance. The video goes on location to Florence, Italy, to see the brilliant colors and religious subjects typical of the Renaissance. Works by Giotto, Botticelli, Donatello, and Ghiberti are featured.
