The concluding episode to the Armitage III series revolves around the tense relationship between two cops -- cyborg Armitage and Ross Sylibus, a human detective from Earth. In the action-packed climax, the two confront the scientist who created the third generation of cyborgs that includes Armitage herself, and Armitage learns the alarming truth about why she was created. The finale of this thoughtful cyberpunk series owes a great debt to Ridley Scott's Blade Runner.
