Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Shortly after she graduates from high school, country girl Charlotte Marlin (Shirley Mason) loses her small inheritance and becomes a school teacher. In spite of her modest surroundings, she has three wishes: to be liked, to be well known, and to marry a millionaire. Getting the first wish is easy enough -- she is kind to all those around her. She gains fame by entering and winning a golf tournament. As for her third desire, she learns that money isn't everything and ends up with a humble, down-to-earth doctor (Raymond McKee).
