Hosted by Annie Getchell, this video features episode seven from the second season of the award-winning PBS television series. In this installment, Getchell and her guide, three-time Canadian telemark champion Jean-Louis Arsenault, take viewers on a hut-based backcountry ski adventure through Le Parc Gaspesie. The area, once the hunting grounds of the Micmac tribe, features caribou, moose, and whitetail deer, as well as some of the highest peaks in Quebec. The Micmac the range the Chic-Chocs, which means "inaccessible mountains."
