This British romance is set in the Middle East and chronicles the love affair between a lonely young Englishwoman and a traveling Moroccan musician. Though they are totally different and cannot speak each other's language, the two become lovers. Unfortunately, after only a brief time together he then wanders back into the desert. The desperate young woman then spends the rest of her life and all of her money looking for him.
