Anne Rice, author of Interview With the Vampire, is the subject of this documentary. The viewer goes to Anne Rice's world in uptown New Orleans, for insight into the influences that shaped the life of the famous writer, and informed her work. Friends, family members, and other unique characters share stories about the author. There is a tour of evocative places, including some of the vampire Lestat's favorite haunts on St. Charles Avenue, cemeteries, a necropolis, bayous, and the French Quarter. Rice reads excerpts from the Vampire series.
