An influential advertising executive awakens in a hospital speaking only in slogans, and has a profound impact on the life of the kindly charity worker who takes him into her home to convalesce. Adan Kundle (Bruce Greenwood) was a legend among ad men. The CEO of a powerful advertising agency, his career went up in flames when he vanished without a trace. But Adan isn't gone, he's just been unconscious for a while. Upon regaining consciousness, Adan finds himself in a hospital bed, and only able to communicate in promotional catch-phrases. Sympathetic hospital-charity-foundation head Karen Hillridge (Parker Posey) takes Adan into her home as he awaits long-term placement, but his presence begins to cause serious friction between Karen and her rebellious teenage daughter Meghan (Allie MacDonald). And though Adan's penchant for spouting out ad slogans is occasionally inappropriate, it isn't long before Karen senses an odd wisdom behind those trite words, and begins to see her life cast in a whole new light.
