Not to be confused with the American variety series of the same name, the Australian weekly An Evening With... was nothing more nor less than a celebrity interview show. On each hour-long episode, the famous person in question was invited to discuss himself or herself, and reveal favorite hobbies, songs, books, and the like. Sometimes, a husband-wife team appeared as guests, such as actors Googie Withers and John McCallum. An Evening With... was beamed out by Australia's ABC network from 1974 to 1975.
