Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

This documentary shows the far-reaching effects of the continuing social upheaval that followed the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Scenes from the riots that followed give way to a meeting between the Black Panthers and the Young Patriots, a group of poor Southern whites living in and around Chicago. The two groups engage in meaningful dialogue and combine forces to address a number of socio-economic and political issues of mutual concern. They unite to fight against the invisible barriers of prejudice and injustice and find they have more in common than either group had thought possible. No credits are listed other than the feature is a Film Group production originally shot in 16m.
