This video takes the viewer to the beautiful Whitney Art Museum in New York. After viewing some of the best-known and loved works in the museum's collection, the production takes a look at some of the contemporary artists who exhibit there, and interviews the artists about modern influences in art. The interviews take place at the museum and in the artists' own studios. Included in the list of contemporary artists are Jeff Koons, Ashley Bickerton, and Joel Shapiro.
