Synopsis by Violet LeVoit
An extended interview with William Powell, who, as a disaffected 19-year-old, wrote the notorious how-to bombmaking manual The Anarchist Cookbook. He reflects on his reasons for writing the book to interviewee (and director) Charlie Siskel, expounds on how his thinking about revolutionary action has changed, and responds to Siskel's relentless insistence that he take moral stock of how his book contributed to future acts of carnage and terrorism.
