A maladjusted supermarket cashier undergoes a profound spiritual re-awakening in this quietly intense spiritual drama from director Ávaro Buela. Thirty four year old Pamela (Roxana Blanco) is the kind of shy, retiring soul that would likely go unnoticed during a stroll down a typical city street, but an unexpected encounter with the Holy Spirit is about to change all of that for good. One day, while manning the cash register at work, Pamela encounters a mysterious customer (Walter Reyno) who claims to be the Holy Ghost. After being singled out by the spiritual stranger, Pamela falls into a deep trance at the Church of the Wounded Christ and crosses paths with a friendly transvestite named Katia (Nicolas Becerra). Katia shows Pamela how to truly open herself up to the higher forces that surround us all, and before long Pamela is convinced that she is pregnant with the coming savior. But Pamela is going to need some serious help if she plans on providing the next prophet with a proper upbringing, so in order to ensure that the child is raised in a happy home, she and Katia hit the road in hopes of finding her a suitable husband.
